ABP Poland, a subsidiary of Ireland-based ABP Food Group, has been crowned winner of World Steak Challenge 2017 – and social media responded with a flurry of jubilation.

The winning steak​ was a Sirloin Grain-fed Limousin Cross aged 29 months and matured for 14 days, produced by F&M Frąckowiak and submitted by ABP Poland.

In the biggest-ever World Steak Challenge event, senior figures from the international meat industry celebrated the world’s finest steaks, with some big names praising the premier steak event on social media.
