BTA (Barcelona Food Technology) has achieved a degree of maturity and strength which make it fair of reference. At the current time, I believe this makes it one of the most important food industry trade fairs in the world. This is due to the extensive and varied selection of state-of-the-art ingredients and foods, as well as the innovative products and technologies presented, which promise excellent business opportunities for a sector which grows on the order of 15–20% annually.
