John Mckillop and Christine Gilbertson were newly elected to the MLA board, while Gregory Harper and Peter Trefort were re-elected for another term.

“We focused on our role in creating opportunities across the cattle, sheep and goat supply chains by optimising the return on collective investment in marketing and R&D.
“In 2003, the export market paid US$2.3bn for Australian beef. In 2012, for just 5% extra volume, they paid US$4.8bn. On the domestic market, still our largest single marketplace, consumer expenditure on beef increased by around 16% or $850m over this period.”
