In addition to roundtables between exporting companies and potential buyers from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, the event featured workshops conducted by the the Brazilian Poultry Union (UBABEF), the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporters (Abiec), and the Brazilian Association of Producers and Exporters of Pork (ABIPECS).

Ricardo Santana of he Brazilian Agency for Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brazil), which organised the event, said: “This edition of Flavors of Brazil in China enabled Brazilian and Asian companies to build solid relationships that will increase business in the coming years. This was a first step in our effort to strengthen the connection between our country and Chinese businesses and consumers, so they begin to consider Brazil as a reliable provider of diverse and quality products.”
