Tesco recalls Beef Ravioli over fears product contains rubber
The Food Standards Authority of Ireland confirmed that Tesco Ireland had issued the recall for batches of its Beef Ravioli in the evening of Tuesday 12 July.
A Tesco spokesperson said: “As a precautionary measure, we are recalling the affected products from customers. Customers who have purchased any of the affected products should return them to store for a full refund.”
The products were manufactured by Belgium company Noliko NV, according to the UK’s Food Standards Agency. The recall extends only to the UK and the Republic of Ireland, Tesco said.

Point-of-sale notices will be put on display in stores that stock the product. Consumers are advised not to consume the product
Tesco is one of biggest supermarkets in the UK. It also has operations in the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia as well as more than 1,500 stores across Asia.
UK supermarket Sainsbury’s has also issued a recall for its Beef Ravioli and Macaroni Cheese, although this does not extend to the Republic of Ireland.
