US poultry processor Cobb-Vantress has made appointments to its sales and technical teams.

Charles Swain has been appointed sales manager for its south-west US division following a stint as technical services manager in the company’s mid-southern team. He has also worked at OK Foods, Hudson Foods and Foster Farms.

We value experience and customer relationships at Cobb, and Charles excels with these skills,​” Chris Dyer, director of US sales, said. “I can’t wait to see what he can accomplish as sales manager.​”

On the technical side, it has appointed Ronnie Love to provide technical support to customers in the mid-Atlantic region of the US, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia, and Randy Kivett to provide broiler technical support to customers in the US, Canada, Mexico and Central America regions.

Love’s experience includes managing a hatchery in Cobb-Vantress’ North Carolina plant and 24 years at Tyson Foods, while Kivett’s expertise lies in live production, including broiler management, live haul and feed milling.
