Anutec Brazil takes place this summer and some of the major players in the global meat industry are already involved.

Taking place 7 to 9 August 2018 in Curitiba, the event will cover the entire delivery chain of the food industry - focusing on processing, packaging, food inspection and ingredients, as well as services and solutions in the animal protein section.

Already global key players such as Bettcher, Bizerba, Bremil, CSB-System, Handtmann, Incomaf, Ishida, Jarvis, Linco, Multivac, Newmax, Poly-Clip System, Sew-Eurodrive, Sunnyvale, Tecmaes, Ulma Packaging and Vemag have announced that they are taking part.

One of the highlights of Anutec Brazil 2018 is expected to be the Ingredients Lounge, where representatives from the additives and ingredients industry can present their portfolios. "This is a strategic achievement, since about 75% of Anutec Brazil´s customers are looking for solutions in this sector," said Koelnmesse’s Cassiano Facchinetti. "Anutec Brazil will present the state of the art and latest information in terms of technology for automation, processes, packaging and ingredients to the industry and will thus make a decisive contribution towards increasing productivity and product quality over the coming years.”

This event comes at a key time for the Brazilian meat industry. The country represents 30% of the worldwide meat exports and between 2002-2016, Brazilian meat exports experienced a strong growth of more than 344%.

Brazil also topped the rankings in 2017 in the poultry export sector, exporting 4.38 million tonnes to 160 countries.

The machine market in the food processing sector also offers attractive growth potential. In the year 2016, the market was worth six billion USD. With an estimated average growth rate of 6.4%, a market value of 8.5 billion USD is being forecasted for the year 2021.
