HKScan undergoes board member shake-up
Onnela has served as a member and deputy chairman of HKScan’s board since 2017 and was a deputy member of the board in 2015–2016, while Palomäki and Salusjärvi have both served as members of the board since 2017.
The move comes just weeks after the processor appointed Tero Hemmilä as its CEO.
HKScan’s board of directors comprises chairman Reijo Kiskola, as well as board members Per Olof Nyman, Jari Mäkilä and Carl-Peter Thorwid.
Kiskola wished the departing trio every success with their futures.
“HKScan’s management together with the personnel will focus on resolutely furthering the actions that will stabilise the company’s financial performance and ensure good delivery capability and service level for both customers and the company’s other stakeholders,” said Kiskola.
The firm revealed it would be running a general meeting to fill the vacancies in the second week of January 2019.
