The World Steak Challenge 2019 is approaching fast and beef producers don’t have long to get their entries in.

At the media launch earlier this week at Fire Restaurant and Lounge in Dublin, it was announced that the entry deadline had been extended to 28 May. However, due to the higher-than-expected number of entries, there are only a few entry slots left.

“The World Steak Challenge has grown every year since the inaugural event in 2015 but this year it has exceeded all expectations,” said GlobalMeatNews deputy editor Aidan Fortune. “The level of interest from producers all over the world has been astounding and it shows that quality beef producers are ready to test their product against the very best.”

The World Steak Challenge judging will take place on 9 July, with a study tour of Irish food taking place on 10 July ahead of the awards ceremony in the Round Room of the Mansion House in Dublin.

If you are interested in entering, please contact Rebecca George before 28 May on +44 (0)1293 610422 or Erorppn.trbetr@jeoz.pbz.

The World Steak Challenge 2019 is kindly supported by Official Judging Host Fire Restaurant and Lounge, Official Host Partner Bord Bia and Official Supplier Synergy Grill Technology.
